This is not just any book, mind you. It’s a book that is so chock-full of photography tips and step-by-step instructions to take professional looking photos that when you read it your life will unequivocally be changed for the better. You will sing the praises of Scott Kelby for the rest of your days and maybe you will love Momshots a little bit too… *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*
I own this book and it’s sequel and have found both of them to be full of so much valuable information. I am sure that you will love it. Scott Kelby takes you with him on a photo shoot and tells you exactly what to do to get the shot. He doesn’t get all preachy and scientific, he just tells you what to do and how to do it. I found it to be very helpful and a great teaching tool.

I’m just getting going on the digital bandwagon and I love it so far but this would be such a worthwhile help for me! I’m a scrapbooker so I care very much how my pictures come out.

I wanted to say the Scott Kelby has SO much to offer… He also does a lot of Photoshop books as well. If you are an obsessive Photoshop’er like I am, you might also want to check out the NAPP website (if you join mention Tye Durbin, as they are good to their members through referrals)… Anyways he does a ton of how to videos, and they even host giveaways for photo equipment, books and other great things!
DON’T FORGET… if you are a scrapbooker (digital) then I am offering up a CD chock full of goodies if you offer up ideas on what you would want as a digi-scrapper on CD…

Hey Jess…..I’m not entering the giveaway, I actually already have the book….never read it, but maybe I should. I was actually just reading your post and noticed that one of the advertisements on your page is for Randy Fleming Photography…….I love Randy. He’s a great guy. I grew up with him and he’s almost like a brother. If you want to check out some of his work, you can see his profile on my myspace page as well as see a few pics of him in my pics section……..just thought I’d pass that along. He’s an incredibly awesome photographer and will most likely be doing our Christmas pics this year.

Because I totally suck at taking pictures I would really like this book. I know I’m family, so I’m probably out of the running! But I would like to eventually take good pictures of my future children. I need all the help I can get!!

Hi Jess! I would love the book…. Justin just got me a rad Nikon D70s for my birthday and I have no idea what I’m doing! I posted some new pics on my facebook, so you can check that out. I LOVE the idea of putting the kids (or pups in my case) in a box or barrel… genius!
