Mini-Clinic in SLC
This is super short notice. Sorry.
TONIGHT at the SLC Library, there is a free mini-clinic called “What Makes a Great Photo”. This is presented by Photowalking Utah.
I’m super excited to go and really, really, really hope that Ben can get home from work in time for me to leave.
If you are in the area I hope you will come out. There’s lots of great info to learn and should be super fun!
Here are the details:
Date: Thursday August 27th, 2009
Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Location: Salt Lake City Main Library - 210 E 400 South, Conf. room #4, 4th floor
Cost: Free!
As an added bonus, we will have a swap table set up. I’ve been approached by some members of the group that have photography stuff that they would like to give away (namely, photography magazines). Please feel free to bring along any unused magazines or gear that you’d like to give away to a fellow photographer.
Obligatory MomShot:

CASTING CALL…
I want to put together a post about distracting backgrounds. If anyone any shots where trees, poles, other distracting objects seem to be growing out of your child’s head would you send me a copy? I would love to use your examples in my upcoming post. Email them to momshots@yahoo.com.

Is this the Angel that pours chocolate shake all over his bed and the dining room floor and has been known to share his fruit loops with the fish and kill them? Impossible!!!!!
