just found you thought makes and takes today, well just now. Great job working that camera!
I love taking photos of my kiddos too and post tons of them on my blog as well.
All of your suggestions are great and really vital, but I think the one that people would notice the most change from is if they got down on the level of their children, that makes a HUGE difference.

That was a great post with a lot of good advice. I also like opening doors. Have the child stand behind the door and open it. Peek a boo! It’s usually always a great shot!

I just found you on Make & Takes and love your blog! One of my new year resolutions is to learn more about and improve my photography. My kids are usually my subjects so this is great. I have really enjoyed how you write in a way I can understand (I don’t know my way around a camera too well…yet).
