I Heart Faces - We are Family

It’s been a really long time since I entered the I Heart Faces weekly contest. I thought I could probably find something in my photos that might fit the bill and I chose this one. It’s from my sister’s 5 year wedding anniversary photo shoot that we did last February. It’s about time to get them together for a 6 year anniversary photo shoot; especially since they have a new addition to their family now.

I didn’t really have any current photos that I liked enough to enter. It’s about time I got out the camera and took some pictures!!!

This couple looks very familiar. I can’t tell because she is not looking but is your sister Olea and brother in law Adam. I love the photo. Very cute.

I just got my answer. I clicked on the image and it took me to your flickr. Oh how I miss Olea in North Carolina and her mad haircutting skills.

Quick Tips for Photographing Kids

1.) Focus on their eyes.
2.) Get down on their level.
3.) Be aware of the background.
4.) Get close. Real close.
5.) Make it a game and be flexible with the shots you have in mind.
6.) Take as many photos as you can. The more the better.
