MomShots

Ok, first off… Thanks for all the responses to the request for your photos with catchlights in the eyes! It has really made me excited to sit down on Monday morning and write up this post. There is still time for you to send in your photos if you are thinking of doing it. If I haven’t emailed you back personally to say thanks yet, I want you to know that I am thankful. It is so exciting to me to get your feedback. I originally designed MomShots with the intent that it would have a community or village feel where we could all help each other. To date, I haven’t been able to implement many ways for that to happen (yet!). So your responses and willingness to share your images makes me feel that spirit again.

The other thing I wanted to say was that I recently joined a brand new blogging network for women and mothers. You may have noticed their badge on the right sidebar over there. —-> One of the things they requested from me was a banner ad for my site so I had to sit down and design one last night. I am really pleased with how it turned out and it has inspired me to put some work into the header on this site and change the image to be more like the banner ad. I love all the photos much better then the one that is currently up there. So hopefully that change will happen soon.
